About us

We are a family run business based in Morecambe, Lancashire.  We are massive dog lovers, having 4 border collies who are generally found lazing around and being spoilt rotten!!
We had a pet sitting and dog walking business in the area for 10 years and had a great reputation for being professional, reliable and treating our customer’s pets as we would treat our own. We have carried this through to Raw Feeding Plus.
We began feeding our own dogs naturally with raw food, after one of our dogs, Izzy, developed serious skin problems (due to me overburdening her immune system with too many chemicals like bravecto). We soon learnt that a large amount of the ingredients in the dried food we were feeding at the time could be causing her (and our others) serious health problems. We really struggled to source the right food for her, as she had to go on an elimination diet. We were either having to travel a long way or get the food delivered, which to be frank made things very difficult at times.  Round about the same time, Izzy’s sister, Jess, was diagnosed with lymphoma at three years old and given only 10 – 12 weeks to live. We did an awful lot of research and chose to decline chemo and she was swapped to a raw diet and prescribed some herbs from a fab company called Nature’s Sway. She lived an extra 8 and a half years with NO conventional treatment whatsoever.
We are VERY passionate about keeping the use of chemicals and pharmaceuticals on our dogs to an absolute minimum e.g. vaccines, flea treatments or worming etc.
So with all the above in mind, we decided that with our passion of wanting the best for our pets, we would love to be able to help other pet owners in our area too, to discover how to feed and raise our best friends as naturally as possible.
So please come and visit us and we will help transition your pet onto a raw diet as smoothly as we possibly can.

We are not nutritionists or vets and we will never go against your veterinary advice, but we are always happy to chat about what we do with our own dogs.
